UPDATE - February 18, 2026

We received notice that the village’s mailer had the incorrect address on it, and therefore they are going to reschedule the meeting, tentatively for the following week (March 2), but awaiting confirmation and final scheduling. New notices will be sent out.

In addition, we can share some additional drawings from the final set of plans.

First is the final site plan, illustrated in the drawings below. There are a few slight differences from the original.

• The house and garage have been shifted 8 feet to the south (right) to add more space between the buildings and the lots on the north, and to better preserve the wooded area that runs along the northern border of the lot.
• The garage has been further shifted to place it in a natural clearing to again minimize impact to the trees and vegetation in the area.
• The front rain garden has been shifted to the south (right). This is because it is apparently difficult to get full trees in rain gardens, which usually are filled with brush, grasses, and shrubs. Because we wanted to fill in the area in front of the current gate opening with trees, this means we needed to shift the rain garden so trees could be planted in front of the gate. (On the map, the gate is above the “HE” in the Heights word of street name.)
• Behind the house is another rain garden (the dark shaded triangle) to capture more water from the area. The dark shaded line behind the house is a gravel area further allowing water to drain.

In addition to the site plan are some slightly more detailed drawings of the house.
